This is the larger caper piece: a deep bowl with sprigs of capers growing around the outside, round leaves in shades of green on teal stems and one small red-orange flower among them, like the wild capers that cling to old stone walls along the coast. Inside, a deep, glossy teal glaze pools in the bottom. Use it for salad or breakfast, or as a centrepiece on the table, and the Capers oil bottle goes with it.

I make the bowl from stoneware on the potter's wheel and decorate it by hand in the sgraffito technique: I carve the leaves through the coloured clay. The food-safe glaze makes it practical for every day.

FAQ

Are all pieces dishwasher safe?

Yes, they are. Use the eco programme at lower temperatures. I still recommend hand washing now and then, to give your favourite piece some extra care.

Are all pieces microwave safe?

I don't recommend it.

Shipping within Croatia is 5 €; to the EU (except Cyprus and Malta) 11–38 € depending on the country, shown at checkout. Orders usually ship within 1–4 business days. Are your ceramics durable?

Yes. They are made from high-quality stoneware clay and fired at 1230 °C, which makes them hard and durable.
