The Sea cake stand lifts the shoreline onto a pedestal. The top plate is glazed in speckled turquoise that gives way to a cream edge carved with fine, wavy lines, like the patterns the sea draws in the sand, and it stands on a simple cream foot. Put a cake, a tart or a pile of figs on it and the table looks festive straight away. It shares its glaze and carved pattern with my Sea plate.

I make the stand from stoneware on the potter's wheel, carve it by hand and finish it with layers of food-safe glaze, fired at a high temperature.

FAQ

Are all pieces dishwasher safe?

Yes, they are. Use the eco programme at lower temperatures. I still recommend hand washing now and then, to give your favourite piece some extra care.

Are all pieces microwave safe?

I don't recommend it.

What is your shipping & return policy?

Shipping within Croatia is 5 €; to the EU (except Cyprus and Malta) 11–38 € depending on the country, shown at checkout. Orders usually ship within 1–4 business days. Are your ceramics durable?

Yes. They are made from high-quality stoneware clay and fired at 1230 °C, which makes them hard and durable.
