In Dalmatia, capers push out of the cracks in old stone walls and hang down over them, adorning every wall they grow on. This small bowl carries that picture on the inside: caper branches with round leaves in several tones of green and teal fall across the cream clay, and one tiny pink caper flower hides among them. Serve capers and olives, nuts or a dip in it, or set it next to the Capers oil bottle for a matching pair.

I shape every bowl from stoneware on the potter's wheel and carve the leaves by hand in the sgraffito technique. The clear glaze is food-safe, so the bowl is made to be used, not just looked at.

FAQ

Are all pieces dishwasher safe?

Yes, they are. Use the eco programme at lower temperatures. I still recommend hand washing now and then, to give your favourite piece some extra care.

Are all pieces microwave safe?

I don't recommend it.

Shipping within Croatia is 5 €; to the EU (except Cyprus and Malta) 11–38 € depending on the country, shown at checkout. Orders usually ship within 1–4 business days. Are your ceramics durable?

Yes. They are made from high-quality stoneware clay and fired at 1230 °C, which makes them hard and durable.
