Along the Dalmatian coast, capers grow straight out of old dry-stone walls and hang down them in long green strands, with round leaves and pale pink-white flowers. That is exactly the picture on this bottle: caper branches trail from the neck over the upper part of the bottle, with leaves in several shades of green and a few tiny caper flowers among them. A wonderful gift for anyone who loves Mediterranean cooking, and it looks lovely next to the Capers plate.

I make the bottle from stoneware on the potter's wheel and decorate it in the sgraffito technique: I carve every leaf by hand through the coloured clay. A clear, food-safe glaze protects the motif.

FAQ

Are all pieces dishwasher safe?

Yes, they are. Use the eco programme at lower temperatures. I still recommend hand washing now and then, to give your favourite piece some extra care.

Are all pieces microwave safe?

I don't recommend it.

Shipping within Croatia is 5 €; to the EU (except Cyprus and Malta) 11–38 € depending on the country, shown at checkout. Orders usually ship within 1–4 business days. Are your ceramics durable?

Yes. They are made from high-quality stoneware clay and fired at 1230 °C, which makes them hard and durable.
